The Meal Ticket Series is an multi-installment underground hip-hop album project by Sage The 64th Wonder, a masked MC, producer, and manga artist from the south suburbs of Chicago. Known for creating an avant-garde subgenre he calls ".sage~wav," Sage infuses hard-hitting boom bap beats with anime references, video game lore, and free jazz aesthetics. The series is built on a direct-to-consumer and independent release format. It spans five core project installments
